After The Bath.

After Layla's bath I let her walk around her room to air her cute little butt out. She spends all day in a diaper and her tushie needed some time to breathe. Well, Layla enjoys running around naked. She was having too much fun!

Mama's Scarf

Layla likes to play with this blue and green scarf of mine. She'll stick it on her head and walk around with it, or lay down and cover herself up with it like it's a blanket.

Bed Time Fun

Layla and I were hanging out in my bed watching movies and she was acting crazy. She was very happy and hyper and just wanted to play. Notice the red spot above her left eye? Zver gave her a black eye. That was right after it happened. It was red and swollen. It turned a little purple and is now a nice yellow. Zver didn't do it on purpose, it was an accident, but he still got punished!!

I am going to participate in the 5k run to help raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Jeremy and I both have lots of family that are affected by this, and this charity means a lot to us. I'm looking for anyone to help us out! So I was in the computer room updating the blog and I hear Layla walking around the kitchen laughing. I peek around to see what's so funny and she's carrying my glass of water that I left on the floor by the couch (I don't remember doing that!) and she's holding it in her mouth laughing into it! She was having so much fun with that glass of water!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm not doing anything special for this AMAZING holiday since my Valentine is deployed, but I am watching Ian my friends 3 years old son. He's been hanging out watching movies with Layla and I.

I set them in front of the T.V. to watch The Jungle Book while I cleaned the kitchen. The next time I checked on them there were Cereal Puffs ALL OVER the floor and Layla was sitting there with the canister in her hand while Ian was eating handfuls off the floor. I guess he got the open container from the table and gave them to Layla to share. It was pretty cute. He then helped me clean them all off the floor so Layla wouldn't eat them all. We're having a fun time. Layla is napping now and Ian is watching a Barney DVD.

Before Jeremy left I gave him cookies and candy that were Valentine themed. He got me a freakin' iPod touch! He's been wanting to get me one for a while since the one I have is a dinosaur and it's got a glitch so it doesn't work right. I was very surprised and happy. It's also a birthday/Christmas gift because he was deployed for those days as well and wasn't able to get me anything.
I have the best husband ever!

I met him in San Antonio, TX after I graduated basic training we were in the same tech school class for Enlisted Aircrew Undergraduate Course.

A year and a half ish.

Almost a year and a half.

Lots of things. He just recently gave me and iPod Touch for Valentine's Day. He had to give it to me early because he just deployed =(

Everything. I love his smile.

He's a very sincere person. He's also very patient, which is good because I'm the opposite so he puts up with me really well.

Pretty. That's pretty much all he calls me. "Hey pretty."

Carl's Jr is his favorite fast food.

College football.

Summer of '06 in Texas.

We're homebodies, so we stay home and hang out with our little nugget and dog.

Battle Wounds

Yes, my snow shovel beat me up while I was shoveling our driveway the other day. I really don't know how it happened, but I tripped over it while I was shoveling. The bruise was a lot worse than in this picture. It was a lot bigger and more purpled.
