Bye, bye daddy =*(

Jeremy left on a TDY again =( Layla and I miss him so much, especially since it's Christmastime and this is Layla's first Christmas. I'm wishing and praying that Jeremy makes it back in time for Layla's first Christmas. It just won't be Christmas without him here to celebrate with us. This picture was taken the night before he left. I was still sick, so he made my favorite dinner for me. He's chopping up the garlic!! That night I also found a heart shaped reese's cup!!

Happy Birthday Jim!!

For Jim's birthday last weekend we went out to dinner with him and JoAnn. We had a fun time and had some great food. I wish I had been feeling better, I would have been better company. Sorry I'm posting this so late.

SNOW!

There was more snow than in these pictures, but I noticed the snow too late. When Jeremy came home from work he asked me what I thought about the snow. I hadn't looked outside all day =)

More to Come.....

I know I've been awful with posting. First the trip, and since I've been back I've been horribly sick. I was hoping to be better today, but I woke up with an even worse sore throat and even less of a voice than I've had the last couple of days. The sinus pressure is gone though! I've been sitting with the humidifier all day, and that seems to be helping the tightness in my throat, so hopefully with that on tonight I'll be able to get some sleep and feel better tomorrow. I have a ton of new pictures to put up. I've got a bunch from when my dad, Matty, Jeremy, Layla, and I went to Alcatraz in San Fransisco and from when we went out to dinner with my in-laws for my father in laws birthday, and many more of Layla being a cute little nugget. I'll post as soon as I feel better and have time to sit at the computer to upload them all! Thanks for your patience =)

Happy Holidays everyone.

Thanks for Having Us =)

Since I'm from California, and my family still lives there, we don't get to see them very often. It's very hard being so far away, especially now that we have Layla. This trip was actually the first time my husband met my sister! Here are some pictures of my family with Layla right before we headed to the airport.

My parents with the nugget outside of Carl's Jr.
Wendi saying good bye to Layla Bug. She had to work, so she couldn't go to the airport with us =(
Layla ADORES my mom and sister, Wendi especially. If Wendi left the room Layla would cry for her aunt. They loved playing together!

Layla with her Uncle Matty. She liked sitting on his lap with the drum sticks and would try to play the drums. She'd get a couple good beats in before she started eating the sticks. She loves her Uncle Matty!

The Emtpy Towel

While my mom and sister were busy spending time with the little nugget, Jeremy, Matty, and I formed a band called The Empty Towel on the X Box game ROCK BAND.
Matty kicked butt on the drums, Jeremy was sick on the guitar, and I rocked the bass hard core!
We need to get back together soon for a reunion tour!

Thanksgiving Trip

Sorry for the lack of posts. For Thanksgiving Jeremy, Layla, and I took a trip to my hometown in California. We got to spend the holiday with my parents, sister, brother, grandma, and best friend Robin. We had a great meal cooked by my mama! She did a wonderful job, and we all enjoyed leftovers over the week we were there (except stuffing because my brother ate all of it!)
We didn't take many pictures, I don't know why. I guess the week just went by too quickly and no one thought to bust out the camera. Here are some from my mom's camera.

Layla and Grandma Robbin playing peek a boo.

My parents with the nugget. Jeremy wanted to subtly be in the picture too.

Layla loves it when Grandma Robbin shares her orange popsicles with her. My mom doesn't mind getting baby drool all over herself.

Grandma and Grandpa bought a TON of new toys for Layla to entertain herself with. They also got a ton of my old toys down from the attic.

What I thought about TWILIGHT movie!

So of course, it was different from the book, but that was to be expected. I wish there was a way for the movie to not have been confusing to people that hadn't read the books. I know Wendi didn't like it and it's probably because she didn't read the book. I'm glad Jeremy did, otherwise he would have been lost.
I also wish they had shown more of Bella & Alice's relationship. They didn't show much of them talking at all. Atleast one more conversation would have been nice, like when they were driving to Pheonix or something.
Now, I'm not a fan of Jackson Rathbone (Jasper) I think he's not very attractive, and I'd never seen him in any other films so I didn't know what to think of him. Well, I thought when Jessica introduced him as the one that looks like he's in pain was HILARIOUS! His expressions throughout the whole movie was just ridiculous and funny. He stole the movie! Funny funny funny!
I think everyone that has read the book should go see the movie, if they haven't already!!!

DVD player

Layla likes to play with DVDs now. She loves to crawl into small places (under the papasan chair, the ottoman, the exersaucer, the table, etc) well she likes to crawl back to one of our DVD shelves and pull the DVDs off and chew on them or throw them. When I catch her, I just say her name and she turns to me with a big smile and giggle.
She's too cute to get mad at =D

It's super Tuesday !!!

I've been going insane all day. I have had the news off and on and getting more and more nervous as the end of the day gets closer. It's a presidential election day here in the great United States of America!! I hope everyone takes the chance to go out and vote. You know, Starbucks is giving away a free cup of coffee for anyone that votes. If that's not incentive enough, then I just don't know what is.
I sent in my absentee ballot to California weeks ago, so I know my vote has already been counted. I guess it's no secret who I'm voting for =)

If Obama wins. I am contemplating running away to Canada. Or Australia maybe. The Bahamas sound nice too....

Happy Halloween!!!!

Today we had so much fun!!! We woke up a little earlier than normal to go to work with Jeremy. Since it's a special holiday they let the families come into the fortress that is the 97th so that we can do a little trick or treating in a few of the offices. I wasn't allowed to take my camera because there are so many top secret things EVRYWHERE (Elvis is alive and lives in the building...I also learned what really happened at Roswell.) So I took a couple of pictures before we left of Layla dressed up as Sleeping Beauty (Thank you Grama Bird for the costume!)

Disney Princess seemed to be a big theme with all the little girls we met lots of Ariels, Jasmines, Snow Whites, Cinderellas, and less cute Sleeping Beauties. There were also a few Tinker Bells, but Layla's Tinker Bell costume from last weekend was way cuter!!!

Layla wasn't a big fan of her princess hat, so I decided to try it on. I don't know why she didn't like it. Didn't bother me any.

A popular candy that was handed out at Jer's work was lollipops. I tired to give Layla one, and she grabbed it from me and ate it herself!

It was a little sour and Layla was getting sticky slobber everywhere!!!

To get the sticky slobber mess clean we stuck Layla in the sink and washed her up. When I had her on the floor drying her off, she saty up and tried very hard to get away from m.

She's a quick little mover so I had to get Jeremy's help to reign her in. She was still determined to crawl around naked.

I even tried to bribe her with a toy.

Well, after waiting all day we had a costume change and Layla was a cute little witch. After we got her dressed up we took her over to my in laws house to trick or treat. When we got home we took her around the neighborhood looking for more suckers to take from the neighbors. We finally got enough and came home to sit in the garage and hand out candy to the trick or treaters.

Layla enjoyed all the other little kids on costumes. She just stared at them, wondering what was going on and why they were taking all her candy.

She got bored of that, so it was play time for the littlest, cutest witch.

The best part of tonight was Ghost Hunters Live!!! The team was streaming live from Fort Delaware for seven hours!!! Layla enjoyed watching it, until she passed out from her sugar high crash. Jeremy is over on the chair fast asleep also.

Crazy Little Nugget!!!

I was over here on the computer updating the blog and my facebook and Jer came over telling me I had to come see Layla. They were hanging out in the living room, and Layla crawled over to the dining room and climbed up to stand against the glass and look out side. She seemed to be having a lot of fun!

I went outside through the garage to get some pictures and she got so excited to see me out there that she started smiling and banging on the glass.

Zver was going crazy the whole time because he wanted to come play outside with me.
